GT Machine & Tool has 9 CNC Milling machines that have capacity to machine a 30″ X 60″ piece of material using up to 25 horsepower. Milling is a machining process that uses work holdings to secure raw material while tooling rotates to cut the material. Endmills, spot drill, drills, taps, & thread mills are a few tools that are used to machine a precision machined part. GT utilizes both vertical and horizonal milling centers along with multiple axis to produce parts to our customers needs. All of GT’s machined parts are programmed using CAD/CAM software (Mastercam), and are inspected with a fiber-optic probe on our Zeiss Duramax Coordinate Measuring Machine.
